many extraordinary circumstances.

You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star.
~Nietzsche

circumstances
(hand felted hearts with altered fabric & Tyvek .)

Life always has a way of picking us up by the back of our pants and pushes us to do more then we want to. This is how we often grow and lean the most about our self and what we are truly made of.

I have once again waited till the last minute to get some work completed so in the new few days I will be working very hard to get it all done on time!
I often question this part of me...
the part that always wants to play or do anything other then what is needed from me.

One of the main struggles that I have been having lately is making the move back to making jewelry...
it very hard for my mind to shift from fabric to jewelry...
all my new ideas have been towards jewelry...
but I almost feel guilty for not working on my fabric art some how...
I understand that I just need to let go and not think so much and just let my creative process take hold of me and allow the journey to just unfold in fount of me...

Like a child at play...
"Oh JOY! "
(I think I may have already found my way!)

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

I love the Many Extraordinary Circumstances piece and your Nietzsche quote is great, too. Thanks for the affirmation!

I understand you, Ruth. What I do is go in the direction I'm pulled in. I don't resist it. Of course, you have to meet your deadlines too ;)

You must follow your heart.

Ruth as a creative person myself, I can relate to these thoughts...I have been rediscovering my creative side and I have just so many ideas pulling me in many directions.
I also say just follow your heart.

You are doing fabulous work and to me your outcome is amazing. I look at a number of blogs on a daily basis and yours is one and the blogs I check out often get me so fired up to do, do, do as I view you folks as doing so much and often feel that I spend too much time in the planning stage or cleaning up to work again stage. So I thank you for this last bit of wisdom and I plan to sign off and just let it lead me as I know full well to do but I needed a reminder. Deborah Guthrie
