I crack myself up!

Egomania got the best of me tonight! this is my first time seeing this on a news stand! Sarah snapped this photo with her phone... I think I need to take the good camera in and take one more shot before its off the stands :)

when I received my preview magazine... I looked at it and said "ok... I did that" but it never really hit me till last night that I could walk into just about any book store in north america and see something that I did on the news stand and see a little peek of what I created on the cover no less :)

That's not egomania. That's a well deserved bask in the limelight. You deserve it! I may just have to go look for the issue at the nearby quilt shop.

What a beautiful photo of you, what a great smile!!! This is a wonderful moment (and I am sure not the last) and you need to take as many photos as possible!! I am thrilled to have this issue and TOTALLY jazzed to have one of your pieces on it's way to me.

Good for you! I was on Wheat Thins packaging this spring and my husband wanted to take a similar picture. I was always too embarassed/shy. I applaud your confidence!

Julie, I was like... "hurry up take that pitcher I feel like a freak!" LOL

you really should have let him take your pitcher! you would have been happy after but VERY embarrassed during! :)

Your article was one of my favorites in that issue. I love the burnt organza flowers. I think you should be very proud of yourself....go ahead and bask in the limelight. You deserve it.

I told a complete stranger to buy the magazine the other day... I said "My friend Ruth did that" and I told her how fantastic you are and she bought it! You're famous in Canada too! and that is a great picture of you -- you look so happy!

It's so nice to see the person behind all the wonderful fabric art. Love your feature in CPS.

Oh my gosh...Don't feel silly...I think it's awesome! Good for you...you'd totally kick yourself years from now if you didn't do that...I was so excited about showing my hubby that "look this is done by someone who left a comment on my pic on flickr"...He was quite impressed at your work as am I! When my ATC was inside of Quilting Arts I must have told every cashier the day I bought several issues...they were like "alrighty" but I didn't care :)
