Land and Sea

Yesterday was such a fun over the top day for me... I received a PDF file of my article for cloth paper scissors for me to review to make sure if was correct for publication... I was thinking it was going to be just a word file but to the sounds of my screams it was in fact the pages with the photos of my fabric jewelry!!! the article is called "sew charming" and it will be in the may/June issue!

I am so happy with what how the article looks they did such a fantastic job of laying out my work with my words and how to's ! I can not wait till you all can see it!

I call this necklace "land and sea" the felt leaf represents the land and the pearls the sea.
this was created for the cloth paper scissors article but it did not make it into the photo shoot because they decided to only high light a group of bracelets that I created.

I made these little gift parcels today and inside have a gift they will be on the way to two lucky girls tomorrow :)

Happy Creating !

Ruth how exciting for you to be published in Cloth Paper Scissors (the BEST publication!!!).
Your jewellery is gorgeous!! You probably dont know it, but I am the lucky owner of a wonderful pair of earrings made by yourself. They were a gift from my good friend Dot Christian. I absolutely love them! Beautiful ivory type flowers and a gorgeous dragonfly on one of them. AND your packaging is art in itself. Loved the little felt book with lace and machine embroidery.
Well done. I will eagerly await my next issue of CPS.

The parcels are so gorgeous. I hope you dont mind me asking but i am intrigued by your use of hebrew text. Was it by chance that you used it or do you use it for some special significance? Thanks
