Sewing mends the soul

If you will be attending winter CHA you will be able to view this apron in person as I will be demonstrating sewing tecnecks in the roc-Lon booth. This is my schedule for the show. ( I hope to see and meet some of you there)
  • Saturday, Jan 11th  10:00-11:00 F&W publications (book singing and giveaway!)
  • Saturday, Jan 11th 2:30-3:30 roc-Lon (sewing)
  • Sunday, Jan 12th  11:00-12:30 iceresin (jewelry)
  • Sunday, Jan 12th  2:30-3:30 roc-Lon (sewing)

However for now you can read all about how to make your own apron in the newest issue of sew somerset..
And I am as please as can be because my apron is gracing the cover!

And as we all know it always about the details! It really is about all the little things that we do in our art that truly makes all the diffrence. To make this apron I only used three different fabrics.

I used my 3 can't live without fabrics all by roc-Lon

The secret is my love affair with fabric dyeing. With just a few basic fabrics and some dye you can really express your self with color in so many ways.

In my online fabric flower class I teach you the basic's of how I dye.

I hope your all enjoying the holladays as we gear up to the start of a new year!

Sewing truly does mend the soul.

I do love tour apron and all your art work!
I have a big regret about you.
I'm italian and live in Italy, I attended International Quilt festival in Houston in 2011and booked a class with you, but due to an health problem you wasn't able to teach.
I hope your eyes are well now, and to have in future another occasion to learn from you.
