In the January / February Issue of Belle Armoire
OK, I will fully admit that getting your work publish is always a thrill and really never gets old. However when I got my first glance of the photography for a pinafore that I made it was almost as if all my little girl dreams of becoming a fashion designer came true!
Its always thrilling as a artist when you hand over your creation and wait to see just what magical twist the photographer will come up with!
and as a extra special treat my daughter Sarah-Jeanne has some of her fantastic croshayed scarfs in the very same issue!

Your creation is simply beautiful - congratulations on being published. And how special to share the honour with your daughter. What do they say about the apple never falling far from the tree....? Too true!
Oh how wonderful Ruth... big congrats to both you and your daughter... your work is stunning...

May I ask a question about your piece? did you use a pinafore pattern or wing it?
Happy new year to you Ruth

As soon as i am strong enough to drive, i am heading straight to Booksamillion. i love this pinafore.
in fact i love the word pinafore, along with frock. Both of them make me think of a romantic simpler time.
