Art Quilting Studio


Over the last few months I have been scouting innovative art-quilters for
Art Quilting Studio as it will return as a semi-annual publication in June of 2011.

As art quilting is my passion it has been a Joy searching the internet and quilt shows for artist to fill the pages of the new upcoming issue of Art Quilting Studio. Each semi-annual issue provides detailed photographs and instructions to fuel artists and quilters to delve into emerging trends in art quilting. Artists and quilters from around the world will be featured, as they showcase innovative surface treatments and quilting techniques.

I invite you to submit your artwork and leave your link on this post to share your work.

Well of course I will be submitting :) Will it be publishing in June and September? The same as Sew Somerset?

I am so glad to hear that this magazine is going to be published again. I have all 3 copies and was sad when Stampington said that they were not going to do any more. I shall look forward to reading it when it is published.

Did I miss something? I looked for a link to the revived Art Quilting Studio but only found their existing publications.

Before AQS stopped the presses, I created a piece for the article "What's in your closet".... In case that category is being revisited, I'd like to send in quilt.

There can never be enough inspiration for us art quilters. I'm so happy the magazine is making a comeback.
