Couture corsage brooch's
The flower is the poetry of reproduction. It is an example of the eternal seductiveness of life.
~Jean Giraudoux

New in my shop...
Couture corsage brooch's
each one of these are one of kind and made with fabrics, ribbon and lace that I hand dye and alter. each posy is hand shaped then stitched and sculpted by me. The back of the corsage has a pin back. Posey's are perfect for all occasions, celebrations, or just a day in the life. Add a bit of whimsy to a purse, hat, t-shirt, belt, headband, jean jacket or perhaps your little black dress...need I go on?

a few more things in the shop...

I just added a few of my favorite new jewelry pieces to my shop.
The leather bracelets are so much fun
( I where my create bracelet all the time as a reminder of all things great and small within us as well as around us.)
People create their own questions because they are afraid to look straight. All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk.

Working on this now...
This is a jacket lining that was taken out of a fur coat its silk and quite lovely. I am working on attaching bits of vintage lace and trim onto it.
and here is a view of the back I plan on making the back look something like a art quilt I am still working out the details.
- I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.

online workshops ~

(I took this photos just as I was heading home it was only the second time I made it out of the hotel.)
what a amazing group! each and everyone of you were pure brilliance!
( i did not get a chance to take many photos but here is a link to the creative connection group photo pool)
I can not believe that my teaching for this year is over.
I need a little time to recollect myself and take a little time to nest and reconnect with my family.
The dogs

and the kids are happy to have me home.

I have found that my head is shifting over to working on my first online workshop. If you all would be so kind as to help me out on my sidebar is a little poll asking what online workshop you would like to see from me first,

it would be of great help to me if you would take the time to vote.
Also over the next few weeks, I have a good amount of Jewelry, a few poetry scarfs and some fabric art that I will be offering for sale in my online shop just in time for the holidays!
(or my favorite just because!)

(this little book will be for sale soon!)
Happy creating!

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.

i carry your heart

Scarf reads:
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in~ee cummings
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

All things bright and beautiful...

All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful,
the Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
each little bird that sings,
he made their glowing colors,
he made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,
the river running by,
the sunset, and the morning
that brightens up the sky.
The cold wind in the winter,
the pleasant summer sun,
the ripe fruits in the garden,
he made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
and lips that we might tell
how great is God Almighty,
who has made all things well.

Working on this now...
Here is a jewelry tip:
Some times when I am working out the direction of a piece of jewelry I will put it on my dress form and pin elements onto it...

In this photo you can see all the pins and wires. Once I like the way it looks I will then remove the piece and then attach the parts.
