Dreaming of shades of white...

These photos were taken and altered with my i phone.
I photo journal often at: snap shots of my life.

(This assemblage is 14 inches long and 12 inches across.)

"White ...
is not a mere absence of colour;
it is a shining and affirmative thing,
as fierce as red,
as definite as black....
God paints in many colours;
but He never paints so gorgeously,
I had almost said so gaudily,
as when He paints in white."

--Gilbert Keith Chesterton [British author, 1874–1936] “A Piece of Chalk,” Tremendous Trifles (1909)

HI Ruth.... I was talking to Deirdre Doan and your name came up. You are such an inspiration to so many. As always your work is beautiful.Hope to meet up with you again soon as I am still working on perfecting my cuff from the cuff class you taught at Kims!
