I too have come to respect old books. There is nothing like the smell and feel of them. I take them apart to use in my art but instead of tossing what I don't need I try to use all of the book before dismantling another. Debbie
I too have always loved jars. My favorites are my small florastor jars and huge artichoke jars from Costco. I too, like you need to see my goodies--ribbons, trims, buttons, selvedges, fake flowers and leaves, threads etc. When I was a little girl, I wanted to capture every lovely thing I saw and keep it in a jar. Little did I know I would have so many jars as I am now much older.

As a lover of old books myself I find your shelves so inspiring. You have yourself a great collection.
