If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Well, when I was lost, I suppose it's good advice to stay where you are until someone finds you. But who'd ever think to look for me here?
[sigh]

Good advice. If I listened earlier, I wouldn't be here. But that's just the trouble with me. I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.

Life would be so much easier if only we followed own advice and listen to logic!
I made this scarf for me... and I adore it!
The words are from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland when ever I put this on I am reminded to think like a child.

I love the scarf. I actually have the original cheshire cat tattoed behind my left shoulder. Oh and to keep my inner child alive, I like making shrink plastic jewelry.

I read lots of children's books -- and not because I'm a teacher -- I read many many young adult novels (not an age that I'm qualified to teach) I think that reading about their hope and belief that good things will happen helps to keep me from being too jaded about the world.....

Great scarf and sentiments! I love the blue color. What keeps my inner child alive? Art journaling and dancing crazily to music in the middle of an art project. :)

Beautiful and gorgeous! I just bought your new book and am totally smitten with it, can't wait to try something. I have admired your work for a long time. I am a jewelry artist, mixed media. I have been fighting the urge to go back to sewing, but I have finally given in! Thank you for your beautiful inspiration!!
