Woven Jewelry

I made up these class samples today for my Woven jewelry class that I will be teaching at Bellaluna Beads
in the East Dundee, Illinois on Wednesday, august 8Th (please call 847.426.2323 to sine up)

We will start the class by creating a woven leaf that can be use to make earrings a pendent or a bracelet

Next we will make a beaded ladder and I will show you how to also make a bail so you can create earrings or a pendent.

then I will show you how to create a woven crown.

I will also be doing a Demo at Bellalunabeads on fabric charms and organza flowers, just like the ones I did in Cloth papers scissors on Sunday, August 6Th from 2-3pm

It sounds as though it will be a great class. You will have some lucky student!

I went to grad school with a woman who wrote a book on textile techniques with metal.

OK Ruth... next time you call me I BETTER BE HOME, because the first thing I need to ask you is HOW DO YOU MANAGE YOUR TIME to get all of this stuff done????

I have been reading your last several posts and am just amazed at your creative travels and projects! I love the little baskets, (yes the left one!) I WISH I could take one of YOUR classes and I can't believe I'm in a book project with you! xoxox

I suppose the first step would be for me to get off this freakin' computer! hehe. BUT I had it on my TO DO list to visit your's, Catherine's and Deryn's blogs this morning. I miss you girls!

OK...I'm off to the studio, because as usual, all 3 of you have inspired me! LOL ~Jes
